Technical Assistance to the National Roads Administration (ANE) of Mozambique for the Management of EDF projects

Assignment duration: 128 person days

Objective of the project
The global objective of the project is to contribute to poverty reduction, by enhancing road infrastructure, in line with the PARPA II pillar of economic development.
Specific objective
The purpose of this contract is to support, in line with the Integrated Road Sector Programme (PRISE), the management of an appropriate, cost-effective and sustainable road network in Mozambique, which will enhance accessibility to markets and social services for the country's population, by providing key experts to the Road Sector.

Qualifications required:
Masters degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or relevant field and fifteen (15) years professional experience (or Bachelors degree and twenty (20) years professional experience), with fifteen (15) years experience in project management, formulation, assessment of feasibility studies, design and supervision of major road and bridge projects, minimum five (5) years experience with EDF procedures and liaison with EC Delegations, minimum five (5) years professional experience in developing countries, in Africa.
