PPP Days 2012, UNECE Geneva, 21-24 Feb

The PPP Days 2012 are organized by WBI, the Work Bank Institute, the Asian Development Bank and UNECE, the United Nations Commission for Europe for 21-24 February in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event includes two days of presentations and debates among public sector practioners, managers and experts, followed by a full day Business Forum open to the private sector.

The fourth day includes a special sessions dedicated to case studies.

The theme of the event is Developing Institutions for Efficient PPP Programs and it will focus on three main aspects:

• Identification, selection and prioritization of projects for PPP procurement
•  Governance of PPP procurement, including transaction management and institutional and organizational models
• PPP contract management and enforcement from the public partner perspective

Mariana Abrantes de Sousa  will participate in one of the parallel sessions on the afternoon of the Day 1, Tuesday, 21-Feb, on the energy, transport, and health sectors.
