Project Summary
The Government of Guinee Bissau has received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA) and credit from the West African Development Bank (Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement- BOAD) toward the cost of the Multi-Sector Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project (Projet Multisectoriel de Réhabilitation des Infrastructures- PMRI). Part of the proceeds will be used as payments for construction services under this project.
The construction works needed under this assignment include:
the construction of a new water reservoir;
replacement of the primary water distribution network;
installation of a new distribution network;
construction of 50 springs; provide 4100 water meters;
and installation of water hydrants.
