Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) is being offered the World Bank Group. The MOOC will be a free, open-access, online education course that will help to engage large numbers of people globally to understand PPPs and their impact on infrastructure and service delivery – particularly in emerging markets. The course will be run on the Coursera platform, starting 1st June 2015.
This online course comprises of a series of videos, including a video developed by UNECE introducing the PPP model, readings, online discussions and peer-reviewed activities. Participants are expected to achieve a solid understanding of PPPs, learning from practitioners, government officials, and academics with field experience, hearing firsthand about the opportunities and challenges of procuring and maintaining infrastructure through effective PPPs.
