EMG is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist for a existing contract with MCA-Mozambique. The Procurement Specialist will assist the Procurement Agent Manager in the procurement of a broad range of goods, works and services that are requested by MCA- Mozambique. The Procurement Specialist will specifically assist in managing and administering the purchase of goods, works and services; planning, scheduling, and prioritizing procurement functions; establishing procurement rules, procedures, and requirements into a procurement operational manual; developing solicitation documents and coordinating contract administration; and developing procurement plans and procurement implementation plans. The Procurement Specialist will also provide reports and information as required to MCA-Mozambique and MCC; ensure all procurement related approvals are met; and assist in the resolution of bid challenges.
Qualifications: University degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or Public Administration; Minimum of 8 years of experience as a procurement professional; Previous procurement experience in Africa, preferably Southern Africa; Excellent oral and written skills in English and Portuguese; Experience with MCC, World Bank, USAID or other donor agencies desired.
