The United Kingdom is the second largest economy with 16,3% in the EU-28 , after Germany with 20,9% and just ahead of France with 14,9%.
In fact, the UK is bigger than the sum of the smallest 19 EU countries, from Austria to Malta, which together amount to 15,7% of the EU-28.
